Bio: Vitor Domingos
Mostly known as "vd", with a civil engineer background, is a long time opensource evangelist, systems and mobile catalyst, deeply involved in technology, he began working on several portuguese telecoms doing support and infrastructure, then jumped into the B2B bandwagon as web architect when the bubble burst, went for a three year ride nurturing online corporate and home banking systems infrastructure at the national public bank. He then holds public duty at the portuguese Ministry of Justice while head of software development, presidential election voting system and national citizen card. Was recently doing marketing and operations for 7Syntax. Now acts as an independent consultant on cloud computing and security. In his spare time, he's bootstrapping Mobile Monday Portuguese chapter, an online video show called alt.prt.sc and he's the portuguese editor for TheNextWeb. In real life, he's a proud father of one daughter, driver addict, living 30km nearby north Lisbon, Portugal.
